Our Social Equity Partnership programme is a research and development project funded by The Connect Fund. We’re exploring what it would take to build an equivalent to a Private Equity Partnership model for the social enterprise sector, at the very least in terms of bringing professional input to bear on social enterprises on a longer term basis. This project is running through 2018 with a report on the project in early 2019. We’re examining the range of Social Equity Partnership applications, from simple partnerships of local professionals applying their skills to a portfolio of social businesses and earning CPD credits; right through to a full equivalent to a private equity partnership, managing investment funds under FCA regulation.

The programme places professional Advisers with social enterprises for up to a year, to work on improving their use and access to social investment. Its free for client organisations.

We’re always on the lookout for Associates who can work as Advisers, Clients who’re using social investment at the moment and want to improve their use of investment, and social investors interested in participating on the research .
